Step 1

Get Measured

Stop by the shop and we'll measure your finger with a professional ring sizer — it takes about two minutes. If you're bringing a ring to be sized, we'll check the current size and figure out exactly how much to adjust.

Step 2

We Size It

We use a precision laser-core weld to add or remove material and refinish the ring right here in our shop. For sizing up, we add matching metal. For sizing down, we remove a small section and reshape. Either way, you won't be able to tell it was sized.

Step 3

Perfect Fit

When you pick it up, try it on and make sure it feels right. A well-sized ring should slide on with a little resistance and sit comfortably without spinning.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does ring sizing cost?

Ring sizing starts at $100 and goes up depending on the gold karat quality and the amount of adjustment needed. We'll give you an exact price before we start.

Can all rings be sized?

Most gold, silver, and platinum rings can be sized without issue. Typically, the most a ring can be sized is 3 sizes up or down, and in some cases less. Rings made of tungsten, titanium, or stainless steel generally can't be sized — the metals are too hard. Eternity bands with stones all the way around are also tricky. Over 90% of class rings, we recommend sending back to the manufacturer for resizing. Also note that most of the time you will lose the original engraving on the inside after sizing. Bring it in and we'll let you know what's possible.

How long does ring sizing take?

We ask for two weeks, but most sizing is done within a week. If you need it faster, you can request an express service.

Will sizing damage my ring?

No. We use a laser technique called a laser-core weld — it yields a stronger result than traditional soldering. We match the metal, weld precisely, and refinish so the ring looks just like it did before — or better.
