Step 1
Get Measured
Stop by the shop and we'll measure your finger with a professional ring sizer — it takes about two minutes. If you're bringing a ring to be sized, we'll check the current size and figure out exactly how much to adjust.
Step 2
We Size It
We cut, add or remove material, solder, and refinish the ring right here in our shop. For sizing up, we add matching metal. For sizing down, we remove a small section and reshape. Either way, you won't be able to tell it was sized.
Step 3
Perfect Fit
When you pick it up, try it on and make sure it feels right. A well-sized ring should slide on with a little resistance and sit comfortably without spinning.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does ring sizing cost?
Most sizing jobs run between $40 and $80, depending on the metal, the amount of adjustment, and whether the ring has stones that need to be protected during the process. We'll give you an exact price before we start.
Can all rings be sized?
Most gold, silver, and platinum rings can be sized without issue. Rings made of tungsten, titanium, or stainless steel generally can't be sized — the metals are too hard. Eternity bands with stones all the way around are also tricky. Bring it in and we'll let you know what's possible.
How long does ring sizing take?
Most sizing is done within 2–3 business days. Rush jobs are sometimes possible — just ask.
Will sizing damage my ring?
No. When done properly, sizing is invisible. We match the metal, solder cleanly, and refinish so the ring looks just like it did before — or better.
